Former Disney star releases vulgar pro-abortion song comparing women to “swine”

A former Disney star has released a pro-abortion song claiming that women in post-Roe America are treated like “swine”.

Popstar Demi Lovato, 30, a former Disney star, has released a pro-abortion song called “Swine”.

Full of profanity and vulgar language, the lyrics of the song – much of it cannot be repeated here – claim that unless a woman can have an abortion, she’s simply swine: “My life, my voice / My rights, my choice / It’s mine, or I’m just swine.”

The release of the song was timed to coincide with the anniversary of the repeal of Roe. V. Wade last year. Profits from the song will be sent to pro-abortion organisations.

The track also compared the position of women in post-Roe America to women in the Salem Witch Trials. “We gotta feed and bathe em… And if you won’t, they call you a witch to burn at the stake in Salem.”

Lovato claimed elsewhere that she wants the “song to empower not only the birthing people of this country but everyone who stands up for equality”.

Responding to Lovato, Abby Johnson, the former Planned Parenthood employee who is now a noted pro-life advocate, said: “Demi Lovato encapsulates how broken our culture is in one song…

“It blows my mind that we live in a time where people who make the choice to do the thing, sex, that creates babies think that they shouldn’t have any consequences and should just be able to murder children rather than raise them.”

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro of the Daily Wire called the song “evil”, adding that “Demi has officially gone off of the deep end”.

SPUC comment

A SPUC spokesperson said: “This nasty abortion anthem has nothing to do with empowerment or equality. Rather, it turns women into victims while presenting unborn children as problems to be got rid of rather than loved.

“Demi Lovato’s self-objectifying vision for women is ugly and unloving, just like abortion, which her obscene lyrics reflect. Instead of revelling in death and self-pity, Lovato would do better to work towards a better world for our children, for their mothers as well, where life is truly enjoyed and valued, not scorned.”
