We want to raise public awareness that coerced abortion is a form of abuse. This campaign has two objectives:
- To reach women who are being coerced, or are at risk of being coerced, into abortion, and signposting them to get help.
- To raise public awareness of this issue, and to have coerced abortion recognised as a form of abuse and made a priority for health and social policy moving forward.
We have produced a range of materials which you can spread around your local community. These include:
- Small cards
- Beer mats
- Stickers (waterproof & non-waterproof)
- A4 posters
- A guide for activists
- What You Need To Know pamphlets
- Door-to-door flyers
All of these materials have a QR code. When people scan this, they are taken to coercionisabuse.org which gives information on how to get help if they are being coerced, as well as how to get involved in the campaign.
