A baby girl born with anencephaly, a condition where babies are born with parts of their brain missing and therefore often die soon after birth, is still alive at six months.

It was predicted that baby Angela, born to mother Sonia Morales, would probably be stillborn or die within hours of her birth.

On 23 September, Angela's family marked six months of her life outside the womb. [LifeNews.com, 23 September]
