First of all I will say that James Whale was really horrible to Anthony McCarthy. It seems to me that Mr Whale had been indoctrinated by the pro-aborts lobby and Dr McCarthy bore the brunt of it. It may be the initial reaction of a woman who finds herself pregnant to not want to be pregnant, and the mans reaction to 'get rid of it'. Over the next 9 months or so with care, support and love mot women realise they are carrying a human being inside them to be loved and cherished. If the little one is still not wanted after s/he is born, there are plenty of people who wish to adopt. I wish to remind Mr Whale that this lump of cells is a human being from conception.

Wow Ms Jamieson, everything is all very cut and dry in your world isn't it. Let me put something across to you which lots of anti-choicers don't seem to understand. Women don't just have abortions because they don't want to raise a child. Many of them have an abortion because they don't want to be pregnant. They do not want to give over their body for 9mths and make choices about their lives, their health, their work and their families based around being pregnant. They don't want to give birth, either naturally or have a caesarean both of which are far riskier than an early abortion. Pregnancy and childbirth for some women could cost them their lives. For many more it could pose a severe risk to present health conditions. Other women do want the pregnancy but are diagnosed with severe foetal abnormalities. Women don't end pregnancies because they don't want a baby. They usually end them because they don't want to be pregnant, give birth or have a baby. Adoption is a non-issue.

Anthony McCarthy is not 'hampered' by his moral code as there are millions of people around the world who live by this code. Mr. Whale is hampered by his ignorance of the SCIENTIFIC FACT that life begins at the very moment of conception, when the sperm enters the ovum, and he clearly lacks any moral values. YOU are uncivilised Mr. Whale and people like you make society uncivilised!

Would it have been better if James Whale had never been born?
