Hello, and welcome to the new website for the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children!

It's a pleasure to be able to invite you to browse through our totally revamped site and to introduce you to some of the new resources that are on offer.

I started working for SPUC after graduating last year and in that time I've been privileged to see first-hand some of the wonderful, life-saving work that's carried out by our staff and volunteers across the country on a daily basis. I hope that our new website can give you a flavour of some of that work and inspire you to think about what part you could play in building a culture of life.

Our volunteers

One example that springs immediately to mind is the tireless efforts of our branches to spread the pro-life message and save lives in their own local area. Whether it's engaging with our national campaigns, educating their friends and neighbours about abortion, recruiting new people to the pro-life cause, or fundraising to make sure we can continue to provide an alternative to today's abortion culture - these courageous men and women work to save lives without expecting any recognition or reward.

And that kind of selfless self-giving is what inspires me to get out of bed each morning and do what I can for the pro-life cause too.

Maybe we can't all dramatically change the world overnight, but we can all be a friend to someone we know in trouble. Far too many women end up on a conveyor belt to abortion, or suffer in silence following one, simply because they never had someone to whom they could turn for help and support. But you can be there for them and offer them an alternative.

The new SPUC digital hub

This new site is your portal to the pro-life movement and everything that we're doing to save mothers and their babies from abortion. Want to learn more about foetal development, or the specifics of abortion? You'll also be able to get your hands on some of the exclusive resources we're providing, such as infographics, pro-life merchandise or our expert briefings.

This site is here for you, so explore it thoroughly and make yourself at home!
