Supporter Development Officer

The Society for the Protection of Unborn Children wishes to appoint a Supporter Development Officer at its London HQ, reporting to the Fundraising, Campaigns and Development Manager. The main purposes of the role will be to:

  • build pro-life support at the grassroots in England and Wales
  • develop SPUC's branch and regional network
  • develop SPUC's work among religious communities

The successful candidate must:

  • agree with SPUC’s policies, aims and objectives
  • have great communication and organisational skills
  • be willing to travel widely in England and Wales

The deadline for applications is Friday 16 September 2016. This role is open on a permanent full-time basis or as short term contract. Salary details available on request.

Digital Editor

SPUC wishes to appoint a full-time Digital Editor at its London HQ, reporting to the Director of Communications. The main purposes of the role will be to:

  • maintain and update all website content
  • write online news-stories and produce a regular online newsletter
  • market SPUC's digital content via email and social media

There is a possibility of the role being expanded to include digital strategy and CMS development.

The successful candidate must:

  • agree with SPUC's policies, aims and objectives
  • have digital skills to at least intermediate level, preferably with experience of WordPress or at least other CMSs
  • have relevant qualifications and/or experience

Honorary Treasurer (voluntary position)

SPUC is seeking a new honorary treasurer with a deep commitment to the pro-life cause. Bob Edwards, the current incumbent, wishes to retire from this particular role after many years’ devoted service. The honorary treasurer plays a key part in the work of the Society and serves, ex officio, on SPUC’s governing bodies.
