We Care About Women: 2017 National Conference

SPUC's 2017 National Conference will take place at the Hayes Conference Centre in Swanwick from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th September 2017.

The theme of the conference is "We Care About Women". In view of this year’s political developments the conference comes at a critical time for SPUC supporters, and it is very important that as many people as possible attend to keep up to date with SPUC’s campaigns.

Speakers include:

  • Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali
"Bearing one another's burdens, the treatment of the terminally ill and of those with an incurable condition"
  • Professor John Wyatt, Emeritus Professor of Neonatal Paediatrics at University College London
  • Uju Ekeocha, Culture of Life Africa
  • John Smeaton, SPUC CEO and Antonia Tully, SPUC Director of Fundraising, Campaigns and Development
    "We care about women"
  • John-Henry Westen, Editor-in-chief of LifeSite News
    "The Global Pro-Life Battle"
There will also be a series of workshops, as well as chances to socialise with fellow pro-lifers. The conference is fully catered. If you have any questions, please contact Katherine Hampton at
