I was born, raised, and educated in Leeds. My career was in the sign making industry, eventually becoming Projects Manager and Executive Director. I have been pro-life my whole life, and became invovled with SPUC in my 40's, as my wife was a local branch secretary. I was also an active member of Amnesty International for many years, until they adopted a pro-abortion policy. I helped coordinate the 2005 UK campaign agaisnt this, eventually speaking at the national conference. The pro-abortion policy was passed, and I resigned in protest. I am currently SPUC Executive Committee Chairman and National Vice-Chairman. I'm nearly 40 years married to Sally. We have 3 grown-up children, 1 dog, and an inordinate number of cats.
Treasurer: Robert J H Edwards, FCA. I have had a long and varied career as a charterd account, and served as Secretary of the British Red Cross (76-83) and National Director of the Christian Children's Fund Great Britain (84-2001). I am also a church historian, and sat on the governing bodies of various church of England bodies and the General Synod before my conversion to Roman Catholicism in 1985. I have been involved with SPUC since it's inception in 1966. I'm married, with 5 children and 13 grandchildren.

I graduated from the University of Oxford and qualified as a teacher. I joined SPUC in 1974 and founded a local branch in South London. SPUC Northern Ireland: Liam Gibson.
I graduated from the University of Ulster (Belfast) in 1987 with a degree in three dimensional design. I then worked as an artist before obtaining a qualification in newspaper journalism in 2002 from Belfast Metropolitan College. An active member of the Society since the early 1980s, I took up the post of SPUC’s Northern Ireland development officer in 2005.
