Manchester 2007

Women spoke publicly about the tragedy of abortion in St Ann's Square, Manchester, on Saturday 29 September 2007. Around 50 members from SPUC Manchester region supported the event and many passers-by stopped to hear the speakers' testimonies.

The organiser was Judith Stockton of SPUC's Bolton branch. Mrs Mary Lavelle, secretary to the Leigh branch of SPUC, was interviewed by BBC Radio Manchester and Century FM. A journalist and a photographer from the Manchester Evening News interviewed Judith Stockton and took photos.
