Nurses Opposed to Euthanasia
A group within the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children
"First do no harm"
Aims
The principal aims of Nurses Opposed to Euthanasia are to:
- protect patients from practices aimed at killing them
- support the nurses and relatives of those patients who are under threat of euthanasia.
The above are to be achieved through:
- education
- political and professional lobbying
- a support network for all nurses, allied professionals and the relatives of patients who have concerns relating to euthanasia.
We believe that the intentional killing of a patient is never acceptable regardless of the circumstances.
